Hi everyone, I am trying to upscale the signal from my supergun with gbs but I get an out sync green screen.
Here what I tried on my end.
- Tested the gbs works properly. It upscales pretty much every console I threw at it. So I know it works properly.
- When connecting my supergun to a crt TV set, I get the expected screen rolling because of the Midway's odd 53hz frequency. I do however have one TV set that will accept the odd ball signal and confirmed all is fine on the arcade board side.
- I know the original vanilla GBS required some specific settings to work with the Midway boards. We needed to set Geometry -> V.Position to 28 or 29. (See video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=437hH-Vw1IE)
However I could not find this option in the menus.
Anyone can point me in the right direction?
I was never able to get my MK pcb to work the sync was just too out of spec.
Ah man this is sad. There must be a way, people made it work with the vanilla gbs board.
If you figure it out I would sure like to know
The next thing I will try is to hook it up to an ossc and see if it make a difference. I saw some settings on the retrorgb website.
The mk boards work on the ossc when it's dialed in.
